Doug Schoon - June 2009 The June issue celebrates a quiet yet dominant
and incredibly infl uential force in the nail industry – Mr Doug Schoon. This summer Stomp Award is
bequeathed to Doug in acknowledgement of the
years he has dedicated to increasing industry
recognition, developing product technology and
improving standards and education – all for the
advancement of this industry as a whole – for all nail techs,
in all walks of life.
Tom Bachik - April 2009 The Stomp Award for April 2009 is lovingly
bestowed upon an industry leader of nail
design, product innovation, session success
and education advancement. Please stand for
the USA’s ‘Rad Manicurist’ as he’s affectionately
referred to, Tom Bachik.
LCN - February 2009 The February 2009 Scratch Stomp Award is bewstowed upon a brand that has been a leading light in gel artificial nail technology since its interception in 1985 - LCN. Invented, created and innovated by Wilde-Cosmetics in Germany, LCN launched its Classic Three-Step Sculpture System 24 years ago and today
this remains its flagship system.
Jan Arnold - January 2009 The first Scratch Stomp Award for 2009 is given to a legendary industry figure; an icon and a guru of nail style, glamour and design – Jan Arnold.
The Readers Award - December 2008 This month its the readers that choose to recognise industry excellence in eight industry experts
The Magic Wand - November 2008 The 11th Scratch Stomp Award for November 2008 is bestowed upon a simple, yet effective, and funky little nail tool that has been developed to give techs a helping hand – meet the Magic Wand from Young Nails.

Welcome to the 9th Scratch Stomp Award
for 2008. This September Scratch honours the remarkable career of Jessica

as the ‘First Lady of Nails’.
