Fly Fingers

Author // Kayleigh

mw nailsLast week Scratch assistant editor Helena Biggs and features writer Kayleigh Baker checked in at Chancery Lane’s MW Nails. This unique aviation-inspired salon invited the pair to choose a treatment from its airline-inspired menu; services such as the deluxe 90-minute manicure Captains Cockpit, to Shanghai Shape, a simple file and polish.

While relaxing in the themed airline seating, waiting for their appointment, the manicurist secured their baggage in an overhead compartmnent – while they looked on in delight. Essie and OPI polishes were on show for guests to peruse at leisure yet both Scratch journos opted for Two Weeks In Tahiti, which comprised a Shellac or Artistic Colour Gloss two-week manicure.

With four manicure desks and two pedicure chairs creating the scene inside this themed salon space – the techs complement the arena with uniforms in a flight-attendant style with a workwear twist. Polishing to perfection, the techs performed a first-class service, asking questions about nail health and providing excellent homecare and retail advice and recommendations.

Not only does MW Nails have the novelty factor, it also provides a highly professional service including scrupulous hygiene procedures and perfect polishes. Make sure you check in for an appointment and fly over to the salon and experience a treatment yourself.
