Butter London has collaborated with Pantone as the official beauty partner for the Pantone Colour of the Year 2018 collection. The British beauty brand has launched a six-piece nail lacquer collection, three lip glosses, three lipsticks, a Glazen Eye Gloss, Lustrous Liner and four-piece kit directly inspired by Pantone 18-3838, Ultra Violet.

“As a brand we are obsessed with colour, so the relationship with Pantone has been a natural pairing,” comments Butter London president, Sarina Godin. “Ultra Violet translates perfectly to beauty, and we are delighted to celebrate this inventive, inspirational shade in our limited edition collection.”

Executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, adds: “The inherent complexities of Ultra Violet make it the perfect hue for every mood, ranging from subtle elegance to bold non-conformity. Today, beauty and colour have become an essential means of self-expression, not just limited to the runway but also used creatively in our everyday lives.

“Our hope is that bringing Ultra Violet to life through our collection with Butter London inspires people everywhere to express themselves with colourful beauty looks.”
