Hosted by the brand and Alex Silver PR, the starry event was held at the Haymarket Hotel in central London. Down in the hotel’s swimming pool and bar, guests were met with tropical cocktails and a room decked out in fun pink and orange tones. ‘Kiss’ and ‘Impress’ were spelt out in helium balloons and even the pool saw floating banana leaves with glowing candles to set the party mood.
While waiting for the starlet’s stage appearance, guests sampled Kiss Nails for themselves with manicurists on hand to apply, along with a team of make-up artists to help with the brand’s range of lashes. Go Get Glitter were bedazzling guests with its pop-up stand offering sparkling facial and body art with glitter.
As Pixie Lott took to the stage to welcome and thank her guests, the singer took a moment to also acknowledge and commemorate the victims Manchester Bombing. Pixie invited everyone to join her in a moment of silence before paying tribute to everyone affected with a rendition of All You Need Is Love by The Beatles. Her set then consisted of two of other hits, All About Tonight and an acoustic version her most recent song with DJ Anton Powers, Baby.
With her talons tended to by session tech, Stephanie Staunton, she revealed that Pixie had selected Kiss imPRESS Gel Manicure press-on nails in Flash Mob and Next Wave, which saw a chic white and glittery silver look.
In the hours leading up to the party, Gemma and myself were given the exciting opportunity to talk to Pixie in private about all things Kiss Nails and her new role as brand ambassador. Keep an eye out in a future issue of Scratch for the full interview!
