Deck the Halls by Sophie Hudd

Start by prepping nails for a Magpie Beauty Gel Polish application. Next apply two coats of Mona Lisa and cure.

Using Magpie Beauty Glitter in Ruby, creat an ombre down from the top of the nail to the centre.

Apply Magpie Beauty Glitter in Sidonie to the free edge and fade it back to the centre of the nail. Gently blend it together the two glitters.

Dust away the excess glitter. Topcoat the entire nail and cure.

Remove the inhibition layer and buff the topcoat to create a base for nail art.

Using Magpie Beauty Gel Polish in Cotton Candy and the Illustrator Brush, paint a circle and cure.

Apply Magpie Beauty in Flossy to the tacky layer of the circle and apply top coat over the circle.

Lightly buff over the circle to prepare the shape for nail art. Taking Magpie Beauty Gel Polish shade, Plain Jane, and the Detailer brush, outline the circle and add some details to create your bauble.

Add some string a bow to the top of the bauble.

Then using some of Magpie Beauty Give Me Strength, build up some thin layers on top of the circle to create a dome on top of the bauble.

Continue to build up the shape. This makes it look 3D and more realistic.

Add some thin lines and dots with the Striper brush to finish your design. Apply top coat over the whole design to finish.
