    Step 1

Prepare the nail for a GelColor application, apply base coat and cure. Apply two coats of Do You Have This Colour in Stockholm, curing between coats.
  • 2

    Step 2

Using a dotting tool, apply Alpine Snow at the bottom of the nail to begin creating the penguin’s head and a small amount of Alpine Snow below the head to create the top of the body. Cure.
  • 3

    Step 3

Using a fine dotting tool, apply Lady in Black to the head for the penguin’s markings. Add two dots for the eyes and cure.
  • 4

    Step 4

Using a dotting tool, add two dots of Unfrost My Heart either side of the head to create earmuffs. Using a smaller dotting tool or fine point brush, drag the gel up and round the head to finish off the ear muffs. Cure.

    Step 5

Using a fine point brush, add a dot of Cajun Shrimp for the beak and drag it down to a point or triangle shape. Cure. For a frosty finish add one layer of Desperately Seeking Sequins to the background and cure. Finish with top coat and cure.
