We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Kirsty Coltman, owner of Glamour and Nails, stepped out of her comfort zone with this green set in a bid to make the colour a first-choice for her clients.

“When I’m doing clients nails, I like to do different things and my clients are definitely getting more adventurous! However, no-one ever chooses green, myself included. So I thought it would be nice to showcase a green set of nails on myself. To be honest, I didn’t really have an idea or design planned, I just went with the flow. So, the first thing I did was sit and choose my colours depending on which ones went well together. Then I went ahead and started the set!

“I used Team Gorgeous clear pre-pinched stiletto tips, without any length taken off, with CJP and Team Gorgeous acrylic. This was an all acrylic design, so I did a mix of ombre, glitter fades, marble and French tips. The colour acrylics were CJP Apple Shine and Amour and Team Gorgeous Boho Bubblegum, Cream Soda and Clear Candy. To apply my glitters, I picked a small bead of clear gel and dipped into my glitter before applying. When the design was finished I capped in clear and, once that set, filed and buffed before finishing with Team Gorgeous Top Gloss. Lastly, I applied some gorgeous bling from DawnyB Gemz. I applied a bead of Akzentz Gel Play Bling On to set my gems and cured for 30 seconds. Then, of course, I finished with Cuccio cuticle oil.

“The thing I love the most about this set is the fact that I hadn’t planned it, using a colour that is completely different to what I normally use and that they have received so much attention! I really do love this set and colour so much – I don’t want to change them! So I’ve achieved what I set out to do and convert clients as well as myself!”
