Izabelle Hammon Training

Meet Izabelle Hammon – a brand offering nail systems and artistic products while on a mission to inspire lasting confidence in the pro.

A snapshot look
Izabelle Hammon moved from South Africa to the UK with her husband and two young children following a change in business direction and hope for greater opportunity. With a keen interest in beauty, Izabelle jumped at the opportunity to distribute a nail brand, however, after six months she quickly noticed that the UK market sought a gel that offered longevity and quality results.

Izabelle returned to South Africa in 1998 to source such a product and discovered Calgel, distributing it in the UK under the Calbrook Cosmetics name. Following significant company growth, Calbrook Cosmetics rebranded in 2009 to Izabelle Hammon UK and in the years that have followed, Izabelle and the team have initiated the development and manufacture of Calgel UK products in the UK.

With a legion of fans firmly in place, Calgel continues to thrive in the UK, and the Christian Faye brow powder was aded to Izabelle’s portfolio as a handy pro and retail product to complement.

In 2012, Izabelle Hammon Ltd developed its own brand of LED/UV gel, iZ Pro Base & Build, under the iZ Beauty of London name to meet the needs of more techs. The success of this product spawned the launch of the iZ Pro Colour LED gel range, followed by lacquer, hand care products and a bevy of nail products; from gems to decals, wraps and glitters, inspired by fashion and designed to cater to anyone’s individual style.

Tip-top training

  • The iZ Pro Colour system offers coverage that lasts up to six weeks without chipping, it requires no base coats or primers, cures in 30 seconds and can be used to correct small imperfections and smooth the surface of the nail with its ability to to build shape and self-level. iZ Pro Colour performs like a hard gel but can be soaked off like a soft gel and has a high shine finish, negating the need for top coat. Courses are available in Milton Keynes, Solihull, Nottingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness and include training, five colour gels and the Pro Base & Build product. Call 01582 798 920 to find out more.
  • Izabelle Hammon Pro Academies offer knowledge to help techs build on skills covering colour overlays, French manicures, infills and how to extend the natural nail using its one-phase sculpture gel.
    Calgel Pro Courses available:
    – Inspiring Overlays (one day: 9am – 5.30pm)
    – Inspiring Overlays and Lasting Extensions (two days: 9am – 5.30pm)
A Calgel attendance certificate is received upon completions and, to certify as an official Calgel pro, the technician will need to attend the third day Confidence Workshop.
