Bejewelled nude nails created by Michelle Class walk LFW Mulberry show

Session stylist, Michelle Class, created a bejewelled nude nail manicure for Mulberry’s London Fashion Week showcase.

Dubbed ‘Sweet Gems’, the nail look saw Swarovski crystal embellishments added to clean, groomed short nails. Michelle created the look with Morgan Taylor Stick With It base coat, followed by one coat of Sweet Surrender for a sheer pink look. The nails were finished with Seche Vite top coat and Famous Names’ Dadi’Oil cuticle oil.

Michelle opted for a classic pale pink nude to complement the collection. “We created a true British classic nail with Swarovski accents to bring the heritage of the brand from the past to present,” reveals Michelle. “We randomly placed large Swarovski crystals on the nail to emulate the collection. Clearly there’s a trend for embellishments and nail art for the upcoming AW18 season and people are being rebellious and moving away from just the safe nudes.

Mulberry’s collection saw a palette of mustard yellow, cobalt blue, peach and pink tones, alongside tea-floral prints, ruffled textured and statement velvets.
