1. Molly Mae’s disaster

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague was left covered in blood after almost ripping her nail off trying to remove her own acrylics at home.

The reality star took to Instagram to reveal how she tore her real nail as she attempted to remove her acrylics while salons remain closed due to lockdown.

2. Grand Hyatt Tokyo manicure

At the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, you can spend the night in a hotel room filled with 14 pieces of Murakami art. When booking the room there is also an option to book a flower-themed nail art service costing ¥22,000.

3. ‘Unique manicure’ for Cardi B

Rapper, Cardi B loves to experiment in the fashion world and to bring out her own signature styles. Now, Cardi B has come up with a peculiar manicure which she addresses as ‘unique’ but has made her fans feel uncomfortable.

4. Beauty podcasts are bigger than ever

According to new data from Spotify, the platform saw a remarkable 131% increase in unique listeners streaming beauty-related podcasts. Also, Spotify’s podcasting platform, Anchor, saw more than 4,000 new shows launch in the beauty and fashion category in 2020, nearly doubling what was already available.

5. Spot the celebrity manicure!

Celebrity nail artist, Chaun Legend, created these Snoopy-inspired nails for celebrity make-up artist, Ariel Tejada.
