Team GB Hockey star, Giselle Ansley, showed off her Semilac manicure as she collected her MBE from Buckingham Palace recently.

The Olympic Gold medallist has been unveiled as the UV Hybrid nail polish brand’s new ambassador.

“It was such an honour to collect my MBE and I was really pleased that my nails looked absolutely perfect and matched my outfit for the occasion,” Giselle comments.

“It’s also great to know that I can play hockey without compromising on beauty, because my Semilac nails are strong enough to withstand the nature of the game.

“I look forward to working with the team to spread the word in the UK that Semilac is an amazing product for all women.”

Founded in Poland, Semilac launched in the UK last year. UK director, Monika Shine, comments: “Giselle is our first ambassador from the sporting world because we want to show that all women who have hard working hands can still have beautifully strong nails.

“We’re really excited to add that extra layer of glamour to someone of Giselle’s calibre and we’re thrilled she liked her manicure for her special day at Buckingham Palace.”
