Nailpad

Scratch’s Kat headed to Ealing, London, to help celebrate the official launch of Nailpad.

Held at a local eatery, Osteria Del Portico, the evening was a celebration of the twin’s invention. Guests included Tori Deely and Carrie Salmons’ family and friends, as well as members of the press and local community. With trays of delicious nibbles and glasses of bubbly circling the room, everyone had the chance to mingle and discover more about the Nailpad.

The Nailpad is a portable manicure and pedicure surface that holds a polish bottle and helps keep the user’s hand steady while painting. The unit is great for retailing within the salon or mobile techs wanting to avoid using surfaces within the client’s home.  The Nailpad can store tools and files inside when folded up and features a handy pull out leg to put between your knees to keep the surface steady.

With the clicking of a glass, Tori and Carrie gained the attention of the room for their speech. “We’re very excited to be here to celebrate with you and say thank you to those that have been with us on the journey so far – our family, friends, colleagues and industry partners,” the pair said.

Tori and Carrie shared the story behind the product, even bringing props in the form of the Nailpad’s original prototypes made of paper and cardboard, to everyone’s amusement.

To conclude, Tori and Carrie were joined by PR manager, Stef Crockett, and used the the Nailpad as a tray for a pink or black shot and toasted the official launch to cheers from the room.
