Team OPI got Scratch‘s Helena and Sophie in the festive spirit as it held a fun-filled event – full of sparkles – to showcase its latest launches.

Heading up to the capital, Team Scratch navigated its way to the swanky St Martin’s Lane Hotel and were greeted with festive themed cocktails and mince pies. A giant Christmas tree marked the entrance, with decorative OPI bottles and bundles of presents – all gift wrapped in glittering golds and reds.

The brand’s Christmas Love OPI XOXO collection was on display and techs – included OPI A-Team members, Jenni Draper and Bryony MacMillan, tended to the nails of guests using the shades, adding effects with the new OPI Chrome pigments if desired.

Guests included trade press and Scratch columnist and super nail artist, Sophie Harris-Greenslade. All watched with admiration and took out their phones to pap the sparkling, spinning faux hands that displayed artistry using the latest products…and the upcoming spring/summer 2018 collection made its debut.

Inspired by the culture and charisma of Lisbon, SS18 will see 12 shades – from a punchy pink to a spicy orange and hero shade, Close Than You Might Belem.

Decked out on a quirky display that featured Portuguese-inspired tile prints, the infamous ‘pink road’ of Lisbon and deck chair props, the varied hues proved very popular with attendees – and will be available for purchase in all three systems (lacquer, Infinite Shine and GelColor) from February 2018.
