World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day – created by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) – raises awareness for the life-altering disease, hoping to aid in its prevention, detection and treatment. The campaign theme chosen for 2025-2027 is “United by Unique”, with the website stating that ‘it offers a three-year journey from raising awareness to taking action’, placing people at the centre of care and exploring new ways to make a difference.
