3 nail artists join founder of Nail & Beauty Excellence to create its 4-strong education team

After intense educator training at its HQ in Kent, three nail artists have joined together to create the Nail & Beauty Excellence UK education team.
Founder, Jade Barber reveals, “Talented techs, Jackie Nguyen, Carlie Salt and Billie-Jo Keach, have been working hard all week with me to pass their NBE educators course and I’m over the moon to announce they all passed with flying colours and have joined me to help cover education across the UK.”
The new educators offer their thoughts…
“I’ve been in the industry since 1999, owning salons since 2001. I completed my educator qualification in 2013 and have been teaching nails and beauty ever since, whilst still being active in my salon 3-4 days a week. Nails to me is more than a job, it’s my hobby too as I just love helping others succeed. Teaching for me is extremely rewarding. I am ebullient, approachable, award-winning and my absolute love is gel and Bridal nail designs.”
BILLIE-JO KEACH – EAST YORKSHIRE
“My name is Billie-Jo Keach, often shortened to Jo. I live in Driffield, a small town in The East Riding of Yorkshire. I’ve been involved in the nail industry for three years professionally as a self-employed nail technician. I have a passion for creativity with flair. The confidence that joining NBE has given me will mean I’m able to continue to grow in experience, and thoroughly enjoy furthering my skills and portfolio at any given opportunity. I’m absolutely ecstatic that after my hard work and determination I now have the chance to train techs and share my love for all things nails… especially acrylic design, which is my absolute fave.”
“Hi, my name’s Jackie Nguyen. I’ve been in the nail industry for over 20 years, working professionally. I opened my salon in 2008 and actively work alongside my employees while continuing to update my own skills. I feel lucky to have this opportunity to share my creativity and passion in order to help students follow their dreams and my aim is to elevate the next generation of nail professionals. My favourite aspect of nails is the artwork.”
