COURSE BITES: Ultimate Male Grooming with Training in Solutions

Course Details: Salon System has teamed up with Training Solutions in Hair to bring professionals a brand new male grooming course. The new Ultimate Male Grooming Course recognises the demand for male grooming treatments within salons and teaches students how to approach male facial hair with the use of RefectoCil tints. Aside from beauty professionals, the course is a great addition for barbers and hairdressers looking to expand their hair or wet shave treatments.
The course specialises in the skill needed for man brows and facial hair preening and shaping. The practical course covers: health & safety; client consultation; beard shaping; beard colouring using Refectocil; facial hair contouring using wax; facial hair contouring using threading on upper cheeks; brow shaping and colouring for ‘man brows’; facial waxing including brows, temples, upper cheeks, nostrils and ears; and, marketing and promotion of services.

Location: Nationwide, on various dates
Qualification: Upon completion, students will receive a Training Solutions in Hair certificate. Participants are required to bring one live model with facial hair covering all aspects of the training course and be skin tint tested prior to the day. The course has been approved by HABIA.
Requirements: All learners will be required to work and develop skills on each other, so hair should be grown on the arms, legs, nostrils and ears. One live model (male aged 18+) will be required per learner. Models should have facial hair, be skin tested for beard/ brow tinting and able to have hair removal performed on the nostrils, brows, temples, upper cheeks and ears using a combination of techniques.
