Junk nails have dominated Fashion Week runways, replacing the clean girl aesthetic with nails covered in mix ‘n’ match, 3D embellishments.
Junk nails are essentially anything you would find in that ‘junk drawer’ everyone has, stuck onto a manicure. From Hello Kitty charms, jewels and beads down to paper clips, this trend has decided that ‘more is more’!
While the minimalist look has been popular for years with clients seeking ‘natural but better’ neutral styles, Fashion Week has brought back the bold.
Although potentially seen as chaotic, junk nails offer the perfect opportunity for clients to express themselves, choosing embellishments that reflect their identity, interests and add a pop of personality to any outfit!
