Chloe May Boyce began her beauty career 12 years ago, training at her local college. Over a decade later, she is a successful nail artist & educator who has worked with Vogue and at London Fashion Week, and she owns home salon, CMB Studio.
Scratch spoke to Chloe about what makes her space so special…
“My home studio is my pride and joy,” Chloe says. “There’s something so special about working from the comfort of my own home and being able to create a safe space for the women who walk through my door.”

CMB Studio is located in Rochester, Kent, and boasts a luxurious, tranquil aesthetic. “I want my studio to feel like a calm, empowering sanctuary,” Chloe comments. “I want it to be a place where clients and students can truly relax, feel comfortable and leave feeling confident and inspired.”
Neutral tones and wood accents provide a spa-esque atmosphere, while lime-washed walls – courtesy of Chloe herself – add to the ambience. “Knowing that I painted the walls makes me appreciate the space so much more, because it’s truly mine: built with intention, love and a whole lot of passion,” she shares.
Chloe offers a range of natural nail services, including gel manicures, builder gel and luxury treatments. “Clients usually ask for a classic French manicure,” she notes. “They love the clean, polished look.”

CMB Studio uses products from UK nail brand, Glossify. “It’s a brand I collaborate closely with,” Chloe says. “Using high-quality products makes all the difference in delivering results my clients can rely on.”
In addition to servicing clients, Chloe trains students, relishing the opportunity to educate others and share her expertise. Looking to the future, she hopes to expand her team and education offerings. “I’d love to welcome more students through my door and keep expanding my own skills and knowledge, so l can share even more with them,” she says.
“It’s all about evolving, learning and creating opportunities – for myself and others.”
