Nail & Beauty Network founder expands Versa Pro Nail Systems line

Danielle Simmons, founder of the Nail & Beauty Network, has teamed up with fellow nail tech, Angela Charleston, to expand the Versa Pro Nail Systems portfolio.

Founded in 2020 with the launch of the soft gel extensions, the Versa Pro Nail Systems line has been used by nail techs internationally and featured in an international advertising campaign for beverage company, Baileys.

“We started researching and testing for a L&P system just as the gel extensions were released in 2020. After many tweaks and changes, we believe that we have created a product that suits the needs of all nail technicians everywhere,” reveals Danni, who has completed over 40 education courses, as well as her AET and Assessor qualifications.

Expanded in April 2022, the Versa Pro acrylic system offers eight core powders, fast setting monomers and an acid-free primer. In addition, the brand also offer accredited courses for both systems across the UK through Nail & Beauty Network education.

“Our ethos and aim is to enable all nail technicians to access high quality, professional products at a fair price, without compromising on anything,” adds Danni.

“We offer live feeds, troubleshooting and support all for free as well to ensure anyone using the products are getting the absolute best out of them.”

Danni and Angela had different nail technicians in 14 salons across the UK trialling the products before the L & P system launched. The technicians using and testing the products all had different styles, different application methods and different clienteles to ensure a wide example of clients and technicians were involved in the process. “The testing and design process we went through took 22 months in total, it was definitely worth it though!” smiles Danni.

“The feedback so far has been absolutely fantastic and more than we could have possibly hoped for. We have multiple academies wanting to use Versa Pro Acrylic in their acrylic kits as well which is so exciting!

“Knowing that we are able to listen to our customers and develop products that will help them on their nail journey is a major thing for me, being a brand that listens is so important as nail techs are not just customers, they are our nail family and we strive to look after them as much as possible.”

The versatility and variety of the nail industry is a huge motivator for the pair, and for Versa Pro Nail Systems, this is just the beginning. Danni and Angela are aiming to continue expanding the range before launching other products.
