The online nail membership for pros who ‘want to know everything’

Rebecca Orme is an award-winning nail tech, educator & competition judge, with 24 years’ experience in the industry. She talks Scratch through her most recent venture: a 12-month membership course ‘for qualified nail techs with a thirst to know everything’.

Rebecca recently noticed a pattern in the nail industry. “I realised that there’s a significant gap in the sector’s education needs,” she says. “While beginner and nail art courses are widely available, there are few courses for qualified techs who want to deepen their understanding, fill gaps in their knowledge and truly master their craft.”
So, Rebecca decided to make her own course ‘to empower nail techs with the education they didn’t even realise they needed – the kind of knowledge that brings confidence, clarity and credibility’.
The membership is built on science-backed information and utilises Rebecca’s experience in the industry, alongside her educational background (including a degree in biological sciences) to provide accurate, accessible information.
“The membership is pre-loaded with 12 lessons for techs to learn and digest over the first month. Then, two new lessons will be uploaded each week,” Rebecca explains. “The lessons are in video form, with in-depth detail conveyed in a digestible manner.” The course is designed to be spread out over 12 months ‘so techs can learn in a structured way over time, avoiding overwhelm’.
Rebecca notes that the course covers both theory and practical elements of the nail industry, ‘from the natural nail to polymerisation, ingredients, safe application and removal, with an emphasis on the how and why’.
Downloadable PDFs and bonus lessons on trend-led designs are also available, and Rebecca shares that she will also be going live in a private online group once a month so members can ask about any areas they need help with.
Rebecca wants the course to ‘evolve with its members’, so is open to suggestions for lesson topics. “My mission is to educate in all aspects of nails,” she comments. “This means that if an issue occurs, a tech can work through how to solve it themselves, using the knowledge they have gained from the membership.”
Rebecca notes the importance of basing the course on scientific fact: “This is a comprehensive course giving factual and science-based knowledge to dispel myths, help techs share correct information and be better armed to advise clients.” She adds: “It is not a qualification – it is a way to enhance qualifications with nuggets of knowledge.”
The membership will be available from 1 October 2025. Click here for more info and to register your interest.
