Monochrome and oh-so chic, Beautiques is a luxurious home salon that spoils clients with Jackie Wilkins’ undivided attention.

“I trained and qualified under City & Guilds and IHBC 24 years ago after studying hairdressing and beauty therapy,” explains Jackie.I set up my own salon after having my youngest son four years ago. The salon is also named it after him – Beau. The salon set-up is based around being a mum, as well as my passion for all things beauty.”

Offering a range of treatments, the Crawley-based salon’s services include manicures, pedicures with Gellux, alongside waxing, facials, paraffin wax treatment, lash and brow tinting and lash lifts. ”My business has naturally expanded, predominately by word of mouth and by offering a variety of treatment,” Jackie adds.

The salon sees a sophisticated décor, created by Jackie.  “My theme is minimal, classy and sophisticated,” adds Jackie. “I like clean lines, simple colour schemes but most of all I love sparkles.

“I think it influences my salon, as with all my services, my focus is about perfection. With nails, I tend to focus on clean lines with my painting techniques being close to the cuticle and perfect round lines.  With waxing, it’s about clean lines of symmetry and smoothness while with facials, it’s about visible results from targeting specific clients requirements.”
