When she was just 21, Lucy Pastorelli opened the doors to her very own nails and training centre. Based in a historic building, the salon has created a tranquil environment in Eckington with a polished and professional interior. Now open for three years, the salon and academy are thriving.

“The building was built in 1879,” explains Lucy. “When choosing the decor for the nail bar, I thought it was important to accentuate the building’s history by creating features, such at the wood panelling walls and glass pendant lights. The glitter wallpaper is a feature that is always commented on by clients, it just adds a bit of extra sparkle!”

“The nail bar is home to five full-time nail technicians,” Lucy adds. “The nail bar is a glam and modern environment, but it is also unique as walk-in appointments are available. The nail bar only uses Nail Harmony products.
“The salon also consists of five other treatment rooms of which offer other beauty and aesthetic treatments. We also have six make-up stations and offer group makeup lessons.”
The salon has benefited from Lucy emphasis on training. Offering a variety of Nail Harmony course in the training area, Lucy is able to teach up to 12 students. Her staff has also felt the benefit; “Each member of staff also has the opportunity to update their nail skills on a Nail Harmony course every six months,” Lucy says. “I offer this to ensure they are up to date and offering the best treatments to our clients.”
