Salon in the Spotlight: Moody Hair LTD, South Shields

Blending nail treatments with hair service, Nathan Moody’s career took a turn when he chose to train in nail services.
“I have had Moody Hair LTD for roughly for now years now, trading as a hairdresser in Lancashire,” Nathan explains. “When I trained last year in nails, I decided it was time to relocate and open a second salon in South Shields to further my career in the nail industry.
“Now I offer all nail enhancements, from tip & overlay to sculpted designs, as well as pedicures. I’d like to say I specialise in Swarovski Crystal design sets!
“I use Valentino Beauty Pure Acrylic system, as well as NSI and The Gel Bottle Inc,” Nathan continues. “I source my Swarovski Crystal from Angel Crystals.”
The salon sees a décor inspired by the great outdoors; “The salon has a botanical theme,” Nathan explains. “I picked colours that are calming and relaxing for a tranquil feel. I like to think the wood panelling brings the outdoors in.”
