SALON IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Nail Inspiration and Beauty, Swindon

Having started as a mobile technician, Kelly Web soon became busy enough to rent a room above a hairdressers. From this location, she was able to build a loyal client base and needed an additional technician too. Soon again, she found her business required more space again.

“I moved into my current salon last month,” Kelly explains. ‘I am currently in the process of building a treatment room to accommodate our new beauty therapist who starts this month. Including myself, there are now three nail technicians with the new fourth member.”

Specialising in nail enhancements and art, Kelly and her team offer a wide range of nail treatments as well as spray tanning. You’ll find INK London products throughout out the salon, thanks to Kelly’s status as an educator with the brand.

Decked out in gorgeous girly tones, the salon aims to provide a place of tranquillity.“I chose to decorate the salon with a vintage feel, with white desks and chairs. I also chose soft colours on the walls and chandeliers to create an elegant feel. I think my salon is unique because of its beautiful and bespoke pedicure area.

“I wanted my clients to feel pampered and enjoy a relaxing environment,” Kelly explains. “One of our clients said recently that ‘you walk off of a busy road into tranquillity’.”
