Dana Squibb, nail artist, revealed that grey designs have been popular with her clients recently.

“I think grey has been popular because it’s a neutral colour that provides a great background for nail art. It goes with absolutely everything and all grey shades are beautiful!

“I created this design using The Gel Bottle in Shadow for the base colour before using The Gel Bottle Blooming Gel and The Gel Bottle in Daisy to create the marble design. Blooming Gel is a fantastic and easy way to create marble designs – when you add the wiggly white lines onto a thin layer of uncured Blooming Gel it causes the lines to spread and achieves that smoky effect, you then cure that layer and add solid white wiggly lines. I also used The Gel Bottle in Jet Black for the accent line on the pointer finger, cured, added silver foil to the sticky layer and topped it with a tiny silver stud.

“I love this look because it’s simple yet effective. There isn’t too much going on but it’s enough to catch the eye!”
