Lisa Blair, of Luma Nails, reveals that neon smoke designs have been really popular with her clients recently.
“Clients have been blown away with this effect. I find my clients are getting more adventurous when it comes to nail art now.
“For this design, I used two coats of CND SHELLACTM in Blackpool before finishing with a top coat and wiped. I then added CND SHELLACTM in Cream Puff and swirled with IPA until I was happy with the look, then cured. I then added my Lecenté Neon Nail Shadows in Hip Hop, Graffiti, Snake Bite and Hi Viz (I mixed the blue Hip Hop and pink Snake Bite to make purple). I kept adding the neons until I was happy with the amount of colour in the design and then top coated with CND SHELLACTM XPress 5, which is super shiny.
“When I saw this look online, I just fell in love with the vibrant colours and couldn’t wait to try it on my clients. It can also be changed up to make so many variations – so the potential looks using this design are endless!”
