12 self care tips in tune with your star sign

A star sign can reveal a lot about you, from who your perfect match might be or what your personality traits are. But how do star signs come into play when we are taking a much needed self-care day?

Teaming up with celeb astrologist Sally Kirkman, Curvissa reveals the best self-care practices for each star sign when in need of some ‘me time’.

As we’re currently in the Taurus date period, Curvissa recommends the following for a Taurean:

Get outside

As a Taurus, you have a natural affinity with the earth, so getting out into nature is the perfect way to start your day. Get to your nearest park or nature reserve and get your shoes off. Connect with earth via some ‘grounding’ – which is the practice of reconnecting with the earth by walking barefoot.


Feel the love

Not only are you an earth sign but your ruling planet is Venus, the goddess of love and pleasure. Sensuality is your middle name and you tend to be at ease in your own body, preferring physical touch as your way to connect and relax. Get a loved one to give you a massage or book an appointment at your local spa to enjoy a long massage of your choice.

Slip into something soft

If you’re a typical Taurus your style will naturally veer towards feminine, soft flowing clothing – perfect for lounging around in. Treat yourself to a pair of soft pyjamas, in warm tonal colours, and for the ultimate luxurious feel throw in some cashmere socks and a fluffy blanket to really set the tone for your self-care day.
