Karen Brown, of Sanctuary in the City, reveals that the French blend technique teamed together with a bold stiletto nail shape has been an extremely popular pairing with her clients recently.
“French blends are so popular all year round and stiletto nails are so girly and fierce. Adding some glitter in with French blends just jazzes them up for events or special occasions!
“To create this design, I used Gelica acrylic powders and glitters. I also custom-mixed the pink powder to create this vibrant pink shade, which blends amazingly with the white and gives a lovely contrast at the same time: making the nails extremely eye-catching. The nails were finished with the super shiny Gelica no wipe top coat.
“I love this look as it’s so fresh and bright, but can be worn all year round. A long stiletto is so aesthetically pleasing and visually effective. With French blends, you can also add in glitters and can change up the colours for each season of the year. French blends are so versatile and using different pink powders for different tones is fab, which is why I love custom mixing my pinks.”
