Laura Chree, of Chreeative Nails, has found her clients have been requesting brush-stroke designs in autumnal shades.
“This type of design has been so popular because of the recent change in season and fashions,” Laura reveals. “Autumnal colours are in again. This design is also really versatile as the colour combinations are endless and can be transferred to any season or dress code for any occasion.
“I have recently opened my own business, so old and new clients have been raving about this style. It hasn’t been age specific either; it has gained interest from older and younger clients.
“I created this look using Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish. I did thin unplanned strokes down the nail overlapping each colour. Then highlighted areas with a gold transfer foil directly onto the tacky layer to ensure not too much foil was applied; I just wanted it to catch the light, rather than dominate the design.”
