Shannen Parry has found iridescent flakes – or ‘unicorn flakes’ – have been popular with her clients.

“The unicorn flakes have been super popular in the salon as I feel that their iridescent effect makes them stand out instantly,” explains Shannen. “I come across these flakes in my local wholesalers, The Nail Team, and I have loved using them ever since. My clients have fell in love with their nails!

“I have been creating these designs by encapsulating into the acrylic using on full nails or fading into an ombré design nail to give effect! The flakes have an even bigger effect under coloured acrylic or over gel nails to.”
