Scratch Stars 2017 Finalist, Kayley Cairns has been wearing this timelessly chic red half moon design.
“These nails were super easy yet look striking,” Kayley remarks. “I sculpted a full set of nude almonds before painting the scarlet hue Classy in Akzentz Luxio. I then added added a nude half moon in Akzentz Gel Play, before finishing with topcoat.
“These nails were not done for any particular occasion, however they are different to my usual style. I rarely wear a plain colour so the inspiration to add the half moon actually came from my son’s school project on World War II. I noticed the ladies in moral-boosting posters wore almond nails in varying shades of red with a half moon design. I actually loved wearing this look.”
