Hope & fight nails for Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness Nails Step 6

Step by Step

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Salon System nail expert, Julie-Anne Larivière, has created a themed pink nail step-by-step using GELLUX.

Step 1
File the nails to shape. Push the cuticles back with the GELLUX Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool, and gently buff the surface of the nails with a white block. Thoroughly wipe the nails with GELLUX Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint free pad. When the nails are dry, apply Fast Bond and let it dry for 30 seconds. Then apply one very thin layer of the GELLUX Builder Gel in Light Pink, followed by one thicker layer, making sure to build an apex. Cure in between coats for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Using a fine liner brush dipped in GELLUX Black Onyx, on the ring finger paint a naked female torso, then cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Using the same brush and GELLUX Black, now paint the words HOPE and FIGHT on the middle finger, then cure again for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Again, using a fine liner, paint a small ribbon over the torso’s heart on the ring finger, and paint the word THINK on the middle finger using GELLUX Pink Punch. Next, dip another thin liner brush in to GELLUX Flirty Fuchsia, and paint the word PINK below. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
Finally, apply the GELLUX Mirror Glaze Top Coat and cure for 60 – 90 seconds. Next, wipe the nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and apply GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil.
