Candy cane nails

Salon System nail expert, Jaz Moger, has created a cute candy cane Christmas nail design using GELLUX.
Step 1
Prepare the nails by filing to shape, pushing back the cuticle, and buffing the nail plate. Cleanse nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and apply GELLUX Fast Bond. Apply a coat of GELLUX Light Pink Builder Gel and cure.
Step 2
Using GELLUX Purely White and a fine liner nail art brush, paint a French tip. Don’t worry about it being too neat as this is a guide. Once drawn, cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Next, paint a line down the side of the nail with GELLUX Purely White and cure for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Perfect the candy cane painted and round off its edges with another coat of GELLUX Purely White and cure.
Step 5
Using GELLUX Meteorite paint little red lines to create the candy cane’s stripes.
Step 6
Finish the design by painting two coats of GELLUX Super Shiny topcoat, curing between each layer. Once cured, wipe over the nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and oil the cuticles.
