Ibiza inspired nails by Amy Anderson

Spring/Summer, Step by Step

“I wanted to create a design with all the things I love about Ibiza, from the colours, Ocean Beach pool parties to The Zoo Project events, the body art and Café Mambo sunsets,” says Amy Anderson. “I had to include a glow in the element for the DJ sets that run into the early hours!”

Step 1
File and prep your client's nails. Apply two coats of Gelish Arctic Freeze.
Step 2
Using the Magpie Beauty Detailer Brush, apply the pigments to the tacky layer of the gel using a sweeping motion into the centre of the nail. Hold the brush above the nail and tap off any excess powder to get the sprayed effect.
Step 3
Gently but firmly press each nail into couch roll to set the sprayed dots in place. Gently brushing any excess off with the Magpie Beauty Detailer Brush.
Step 4
Apply a coat of Gelish Top It Off, cure and cleanse.
Step 5
Using Mo You Black Knight apply the stamping polish to the chosen stamping plate. Scrape over.
Step 6
Quickly pick up the image with your chosen stamper. I have used the Dixie plates big red stamper which requires a light roll over the image but being a non sticky stamper gives a cleaner finish.
Step 7
Use the clear viewfinder to perfect placement for the art on your nail.
Step 8
Apply a layer of Gelish Trends Glow In The Dark – perfect for after hours Ibiza parties! Glide over a coat of Gelish Top It Off, cleanse the nail and apply Gelish Nourish Cuticle Oil to finish.
