Neon rainbow nails
Spring/Summer, Step by Step
Brighten up your day with this rainbow nail design by Salon System nail expert, Julie-Anne Larivière.
She uses the GELLUX Ready to Rock gel polish collection, available via wholesalers nationwide.
Step 1
File the nails to shape, push the cuticles back with the GELLUX Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and gently buff the surface of the nails with a white block. Thoroughly wipe nails with GELLUX Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint-free pad. When the nails are dry, apply GELLUX Fast Bond and let it dry for 30 seconds. Apply one very thin layer of the GELLUX Builder Gel in Light Natural, followed by one thicker layer, making sure to build an apex. Cure in between coats for 60 seconds.
Step 2
Using a fine liner nail art brush dipped into GELLUX Shout It Out, paint a small half-moon in the corner of each nail and cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Dip your fine liner brush into GELLUX Wild Style and paint a stripe following the half-moon you previously created, curing for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Repeat the step three process with GELLUX gel polish in the shades Wow Factor, It’s an Attitude and Dare To Wear. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
Finish off the rainbow arches with a strip of Gold Flexi-Tape.
Step 6
Finally, apply GELLUX Mirror Glaze Top Coat and cure again. Wipe the nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and apply GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil to finish your bright rainbow-inspired nails.
