Nude cow hide nails
Animal print, Step by Step
Salon System nail expert, Julie-Anne Larivière, has created a Nude Cow Hide nail step-by-step using GELLUX.
Step 1
File the nails to shape, push the cuticles back with the GELLUX Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and gently buff the surface of the nails with a white block. Thoroughly wipe nails with GELLUX Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint free pad. When the nails are dry, apply GELLUX Fast Bond and let it dry for 30 seconds. Then, apply one very thin layer of the GELLUX Builder Gel in Light Pink, followed by one thicker layer, making sure to build an apex. Cure in between coats for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Using GELLUX Purely White, swipe the brush quickly onto each nail to create a paint stroke effect, and cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Next, dip a large dotting tool into GELLUX Choco-Latte and create the cow print on random areas of the nails, then cure for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Dip a thin nail art brush into GELLUX Bare Necessities and add highlights to some of the cow patches and cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
Finally, apply the GELLUX Matte Base & Top Coat and cure for 60 – 90 seconds. Wipe the nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and apply GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil.
