Nudecrylics Florals with Lisa Dunlop

Lisa Nail

Autumn/Winter, Step by Step

Recreate this 3d floral look by Lisa Dunlop using Cuccio’s Ultra Clear Monomer and the Nudecrylics range…

Step 1
Prepare the natural nail for acrylic application and use Cuccio Acid Primer Pen.
Step 2
Double up your forms for extra length and apply.
Step 3
Apply Cuccio Nudecrylics colour of choice to the whole nail. While still wet, press a piece of net into the acrylic.
Step 4
Remove the net while the acrylic is still wet. Apply your next colour of choice straight over the pattern; make sure you work it into the holes.
Step 5
File over the surface of the nail using a 180 grit file. Work the file over to remove the surface to expose the pattern below
Step 6
Prepare your roses. Use foil as your platform to work from. Pick up a small bead of acrylic and place on the foil in a small ball.
Step 7
Gently press the bead flat and work into a heart shape. Keep working the acrylic to create a neat heart.
Step 8
Allow to almost dry and then use your brush to turn the acrylic in on itself to create the central stem.
Step 9
Now work on additional petals. You will need to work on them one and two at a time because of the speed in which the acrylic sets. Make the heart shape the same as previous, but this time pick up the petals and stick it to the outside of the stem.
Step 10
Keep layering them on until you have your desired look.
Step 11
Apply top coat to your design.
Step 14
Apply your roses using Cuccio's Powder Polish Resin Steps 2+4 and activate using Powder Polish.
Step 15
The final result sees a 3d floral look.
