Holly Rodgers (@hrbeauty_x) pumpkin stack tutorial

Autumn/Winter, Step by Step

Halo VIP, Holly Rodgers of Hr Beauty, Morton, provides an in-depth guide to recreating her iconic pumpkin stack nail design.

You will need:

  • Gel polish in a base shade of your choice.
  • Gel polish in three different shades for the pumpkins.
  • Black gel polish.
  • Top coat of your choice.

Holly used Halo Gel Polish in various shades.

Step 1
Apply a gel polish colour of your choice for the base. Cure.
Step 2
Start painting your pumpkin stack from the top, creating a gel polish shape similar to an apple. Cure.
Step 3
Repeat the same shape underneath in a different gel polish shade, slightly overlapping the previous one. Cure.
Step 4
Repeat step 3 for the bottom pumpkin, but make the shape slightly bigger. Cure.
Step 5
Outline the three shapes with a black gel polish and cure.
Step 6
Use the black gel polish to add details such as curved vertical lines to accentuate the pumpkin shapes, and stalks to the top of each pumpkin. Cure, before applying top coat and curing for a final time.
