Red love heart nails

Valentine Heart Nails Final

Seasonal & Occasions, Step by Step

Salon System nail expert, Jaz Moger, has created a love heart step-by-step using GELLUX, ready for Valentine’s Day.

Step 1
File the nails to shape, push the cuticles back with the GELLUX Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and gently buff the surface of the nails with a white block. Thoroughly wipe nails with GELLUX Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint free pad. When the nails are dry, apply GELLUX Fast Bond and let it dry for 30 seconds. Then, apply one very thin layer of the GELLUX Builder Gel in Rose Pink, curing for 60 seconds between each coat.
Step 2
Using GELLUX Really Red and a fine liner nail art brush, draw half a heart at the tip of the index finger and cure.
Step 3
Draw the other half of the heart on the middle finger with GELLUX Really Red, and cure.
Step 4
It is best to do a few tiny hearts at a time, so it is not too overwhelming. Using a dotting tool and GELLUX Really Red, create two dots next to each other to create the top of the heart.
Step 5
Finish the heart by using a fine liner brush to join the dots together in a heart shape.
Step 6
Continue to do this across all the nails then cure for 60 seconds.
Step 7
Next, add GELLUX Meteorite to the big heart and one small heart on the other nails. Cure.
Step 8
Paint GELLUX Clear Base & Top Coat over the nails and cure for 60 seconds. Wipe over the index and middle finger with acetone. Paint round the outside of the big heart using a fine liner and NSQUK Stick It Gel, then cure for 60 seconds. Once cured, dab gold foil over the heart.
Step 9
Apply GELLUX Clear Base & Top Coat and cure. Wipe nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil to finish.
