Nailchemy educator & brand ambassador, Jodie Taylor, shares how to create this Remembrance Day nail design.
Step 1
Apply two coats of Nailchemy's White Truffle Gel Polish, curing each coat.
Step 2
Apply one coat of Nailchemy Velvet Matte Top Coat and cure.
Step 3
Blend Nailchemy's Black and Red Artisan Gel Paints using the Nailchemy Size 2 One Stroke Brush. Apply your one stroke blend, creating a 'n' to start the poppy shape. Cure for 60 seconds, then repeat this step.
Step 4
Lining your brush to the top half of the poppy, one stroke a 'u' shape, joining the two petal shapes together to create your full poppy. Cure then repeat this step.
Step 5
Using the Nailchemy 10mm Liner Brush and Green Artisan Gel Paint, paint a stem and leaves, then cure. Using the Yellow Artisan Gel Paint and a detailer brush, create some tiny dots inside the poppy flower and cure. Using the Liner Brush and Black Artisan Gel Paint, write the words 'Lest We Forget' at the top of the nail, then cure. Finish with Nailchemy's No Wipe Top Coat.
