Shimmering raindrop nails

Step by Step
Kirstan Hart of Nail Hart has been in the industry for almost two decades and reveals how to create this raindrop nail design with a touch of shimmer.
“I always had a natural flair for art and nails but felt it all a bit stale until I discovered The Gel Bottle just over two years ago. It reignited a passion inside me and I fell in love with my job all over again. After just a year of using The Gel Bottle products, I was approached to become their first ever brand ambassador. To say I was over the moon is an understatement!
“I’ve since worked two seasons at London Fashion Week, on a pop up nail bar at the Peacći polish launch and I did live demos at Olympia Beauty for The Gel Bottle. I’m excited to see what the next year holds!”
Step 1

Following base coat application and cure, paint two coats of The Gel Bottle gel polish in Cambridge Blue, curing between each coat. Add a coat of Extreme Shine and cure.
Step 2

Apply chrome effect pigment to the nails. I have used Chameleon from Whatsup Nails.
Step 3

Use a dotting tool to place blobs of Extreme Shine Top Coat onto the nail to look like raindrops. Cure.
Step 4

Soak a pad or gauze in acetone and clean the chrome pigment from the nail.
Step 5

The Finished Look.
