Winter berry nail art

This festive pattern of red berries and green foliage comes courtesy of Lucie Hall. Effective yet straightforward to created, it can be easily tailored to your client’s taste via feature nails or full-on looks.

Step 1
Prepare the nail, build structure with LART Supreme Natural Powder. Add two coats of white with LART Gel Supreme and LS 01 colour powder. Carefully file and buff the nails. Then apply LART Supreme Shine Formula on the nails using a clean, lint-free pad, wipe the entire nail with the moistened pad. Start painting the first foliage stem with green watercolour. Paint leaves and use your brush to remove excess water and to create the signature watercolour effect.
Step 2
Start painting berries to fill in the white areas using red watercolour. You can create clusters or berries on a twig.
Step 3
Dilute a bit of black watercolour and add small spot on most berries. Then paint in the twigs. The aim is to alternate green foliage and berries until the whole nail is full.
Step 4
Keep adding leaves with green watercolour. Continue adding leaves, clusters and single berries until the nail is covered without big gaps.
Step 5
Seal the design with two coats of LART Gel Supreme. Matte version would also look great!
