British Beauty Week

The British Beauty Council is calling on beauty businesses to take part in British Beauty Week 2022, running from 5-11 September 2022.

In line with the Council’s aim to spotlight the value of beauty at a government level, the annual event will this year focus on celebrating the ‘power of beauty’, with brands, retailers, salons, charities and e-commerce platforms encouraged to create engaging initiatives to demonstrate just that.

“The beauty industry has the ability to change lives and transform Britain’s economic and social fabric – we want everyone to celebrate that fact,” comments Millie Kendall, CEO of the British Beauty Council. “Whether it’s workshops, giveaways, offers and talks, all-week or day events – we want the British Beauty Week logo to be seen in windows and on websites across the breadth and depth of the UK to galvanise both the industry and shoppers alike.

“Many people have in the past underestimated the power of beauty. But if the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that our industry is at the heart of every community. It brings people together, it boosts confidence and wellbeing, and it provides an enormous contribution to the UK’s GDP.”

British Beauty Week 2021

For British Beauty Week 2022, the British Beauty Council wants beauty businesses of all sizes to produce events that demonstrate the power of beauty to the public, business leaders and policymakers.
