British Beauty Council launches membership programme to increase opportunities for beauty workers

The British Beauty Council (BBCo) has introduced a membership programme to ‘increase educational, networking and lobbying opportunities for people working in various corners of the beauty industry’.
British Beauty Council membership enables beauty industry professionals to access events, exclusive data, breaking news reports and business guidance, as well as play a key role in policy-forming calls for evidence.
Two subscriptions have been unveiled for different career needs, and to broaden opportunities for sole traders, marketing professionals, journalists and individuals within business. The subscriptions are:
- Virtual: £6.95 per month or £65 per year. This membership helps professionals enhance their skills and knowledge of the industry, by allowing access to online events.
- Events Plus: £20 per month or £185 per year. This subscription offers its members complimentary access to two in-person industry events, with the opportunity to pay to attend additional events. It is suited to those looking to build their network, enhance their skills and knowledge, and make positive change.
With this launch, the British Beauty Council seeks to democratise its membership and the beauty industry, and encourages small businesses – especially those led by women – to get involved in order to represent the diverse spectrum of British beauty, drive innovation and help lobby for industry support.
