The British Beauty Council, a ‘not-for-profit organisation dedicated to solving beauty’s shared challenges’, has announced the appointment of its first sport ambassador during British Beauty Week.

Tatyana Heard, who won the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 with England and is a Six Nations champion, has established herself as a stellar sportswoman. Now partnering with fashion and beauty campaigns, she is helping lead a shift in how athleticism and beauty are represented.

The Council notes in a statement that Tatyana ‘represents victory, resilience and reinvention: qualities that reflect the unstoppable growth of both women’s sports and the modern beauty landscape’.

“I’m incredibly proud to be joining the British Beauty Council as its first sport ambassador,” says Tatyana. “Beauty, for me, is about feeling powerful in your own skin, confident and ready to tackle the game or everyday life.

“Rugby has taught me so much about teamwork, discipline and expression. I want to help show that beauty isn’t confined to a single definition. It’s in every girl and woman who steps up, stands tall and pushes boundaries.”

Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council

Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council, comments: “We are honoured to welcome Tatyana as our first sport ambassador. Her influence extends far beyond the game. She embodies the spirit of contemporary beauty: one rooted in self-belief, resilience and authenticity.

“As women’s sport continues its rapid ascent, Tatyana’s appointment highlights how beauty and sport are not separate, but rather collaborators in empowerment.”
