
Coachella 2025: the celebrity festival nail looks you need to see

Known for its star-studded guest list, Coachella is an annual music and arts festival held over two weekends in the Colorado Desert, California.
Celebrity festival-goers sport stunning, on-trend fashion pieces, accessorised with eye-catching nail styles. We’ve rounded up nail looks to note from the 2025 event…

Celebrity & session nail stylist, Juan Alvear, was on hand to create two nail styles for Thai singer & rapper, LISA’s weekend one appearances, using Aprés Nail. The first was a set of extreme claws, sculpted using Aprés Nail Extend Gel Novice, and the second, subtler look was for the music artist’s performance. In both styles, a gradient was created using Aprés Nail Gel Couleur in Midnight Shadow and finished with chrome powder.

For LISA’s weekend two performance, Juan Alvear was back creating an eye-catching nail look. Matching the musician’s futuristic reptilian outfit, the manicurist crafted a red chrome and silver embellished style using Aprés Nail, upon the brand’s Gel-X Almond Medium Tips.

Model & entrepreneur, Hailey Bieber, turned to Hollywood nail artist, Britney Tokyo, for a textured festival nail design. Upon a soft pink base, Tokyo crafted abstract 3D elements, which boasted an iridescent shine.

South Korean music artist, Jennie, showcased bold red press-ons by Zola Ganzorigt of @nailsbyzola for weekend two. The OPI global ambassador was assisted by Mandy Enkh. The pair used one coat of Big Apple Red followed by a coat of Rust & Relaxation, and added 3D swirls.

Social media personality, Dixie D’Amelio, enlisted the help of nail artist to the stars, Brittney Boyce (@nails_of_la), for her Coachella nails. The pro used Gelish for the style, writing on Instagram: “Dixie is wearing [Soft Gel] Medium Square extensions. I applied Simple Sheer [Soak-Off Gel Polish] as the base colour, then used Blooming Gel with Sheek White [Soak-Off Gel Polish] to create the design. To finish, I sealed it with No Cleanse Top Coat.”

LA-based Mel Shengaris of @painted_lolly jumped onboard the timeless chrome nail trend, with a metallic silver finish over an almond nail shape for singer & actress, Dove Cameron.

Black Onyx and Daffodil Duck Walk were the OPI colours of choice for American singer & actress, Addison Rae. The nail artist behind them: OPI global ambassador, Natalie Minerva, described them as ‘bedroom nails’ on Instagram, writing: “the alternating colours remind me of being a kid and painting multicoloured nails in my bedroom.”

Kylie Jenner celebrated the launch of new flavours from her canned cocktail brand, Sprinter, at Coachella 2025, and sported silver chrome star nail art to do so. The look was the work of Zola Ganzorigt.

American rapper, Tink, showcased long icy chrome nails, adorned with abstract silver chrome linework. The style came courtesy of Mycah Dior (@clawzbydior_) and matched Tink’s sparkling cool blue performance outfit.

Brown and yellow daisies were the festival nail art choice of content creator, Bethan McCoy. The design was created by Newcastle tech, Lizzy of @_citre, who finished the florals with sparkling gems in their centres.
