Create chrome nails quickly with Magpie Beauty’s Winter Dust collection

Chrome nails have dominated 2022: seen not just across Fashion Weeks and on the nails of celebrities but also in client requests, and the trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere – especially as the festive season affords the opportunity for glitzy, high-shine nail styles.

So, it’s perfect timing for the launch of six chrome dusts from Magpie Beauty. Making up the Winter Dust chrome collection are bronze Bruna, Champagne gold Moet, rusty brown Auburn, green Hunter, deep raspberry Merlot and dark blue Celeste.

How to apply the chrome dusts:

1. Apply your base colour of choice and cure.
2. Apply one layer of Magpie Top It Off or Don’t Be Tacky top coat. Ensure you use a Magpie Beauty no wipe top coat.
3. Rub in the chrome powder, using a silicone tool or chrome sponge applicators.
4. Dust away any excess powder using a soft dust brush.
5. Lightly file/buff around the free edge of the nail to prevent chipping.
6. Cap with a layer of Magpie Give Me Strength builder gel, making sure to seal the free edge, and cure.
7. Finish with a layer of Magpie Beauty top coat.

Also released are two cat eye chrome dusts, Nala and Orla, offering metallic, light reflecting finishes. Nala is a gold hue, while Orla appears more bronze.
