ELEMIS partners with Macdonald Hotels & Resorts

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Elemis have signed a three-year new brand partnership, which will see the two companies to work together on a variety of aspects.

With 21 spa hotels nationwide, all spa staff at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts will undergo training from both companies to deliver an enhanced guest experience.  This will cover all sectors within the business, from therapy training, retail, sales skills and marketing, through to operational courses and management skills.

In addition, the therapists at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts have collaborated with Elemis to develop a new treatment menu reflecting the demands of its spa guests. A new Macdonald signature treatment has been unveiled as the Ultimate Wellness Face and Body Treatment.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has further implemented a new Career Development initiative which has been constructed in cooperation with the Elemis Academy of Excellence.

The company has also embarked on a new recruitment initiative with Elemis and recruitment company, Arecibo Beauty, a new division created by Arecibo People, talent finders to the hospitality industry. The aim of this recruitment initiative is to bridge the gap between education and employment, offering people the opportunity to improve their skill sets to meet the higher standards required by the spa industry. Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Elemis will also target those people who are looking to work on a part-time or temporary basis.

Elemis has worked closely with Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to create a working relationship,” says Harrison Gregory, UK head of spa and salon at Elemis. “With more shared ownership and the initiatives put in place which specifically address key operational and customer service issues, we expect the future to be an exciting and rewarding time for both brands.”
