CJP Nail Systems is proving popular with nail pros nationwide, seeing an L&P system at its core with an array of coloured powders that leaves customers and techs alike spoilt for choice.

Founded by Jemma Porch in late 2015, CJP also offers the highly pigmented, super durable C Jel P range, which soaks off in 10 minutes. It complements its ethos to cater to a variety of needs, which has in turn seen its community of techs reach over 20,000 across the UK.

Turning to nails as a teenage mum, founder, Jemma Porch, saw the industry as a flexible, viable career option. After 16 years’ experience under her belt Jemma began looking into making her own custom acrylic shades in 2013 and, from there, the idea of a complete system – later to be coined ‘CJP’ – was born.

“I worked with a chemist and began the long, hard slog of creating and testing many formulations,” Jemma reveals. “A little over 18 months later, CJP was ready to be launched into the nail sphere. It started with only a few colours and key products and a website that cost less than a weekly food shop!”

The L&P acrylic system was originally created by Jemma as a technician that sought more from the nail industry. “It is so easy to work with whether you’re a newbie or an advanced tech, the colour range is expansive and the core system is growing to cover every shade of nude and pink along with sparkly options,” exclaims Jemma.

With over 150 coloured powders in the CJP acrylic powder range, Jemma prides herself on finding colour inspiration from anything and everything. “I was constantly craving more and have always had a knack for mixing colours – I’m able to see a colour and recreate it! I find inspiration for new shades everywhere: from somebody’s scarf to a piece of wallpaper. For example, the shade Carbon Grey was inspired by my car!”

As well as continuously looking to expand the CJP acrylic and C Jel P ranges, Jemma hopes to expand CJP Nail Systems overseas by growing the brand’s international customer base.
