Research conducted by beauty and wellness marketplace, Fresha, has explored online articles discussing royal family members’ beauty routines, ranking each to find out which royal women have the most talked-about beauty routines in 2023.

Fresha discovered 63,693 articles from the last 12 months about the late Queen Elizabeth II’s beauty routine, proving that her popularity in the beauty sphere endures in 2023. In particular, the late Queen’s make-up proved to be a popular topic of discussion, with the research finding 9,522 dedicated articles.


Known for her minimalist approach and commitment to organic ingredients in make-up and skincare, Meghan Markle’s signature glowing look has earned her the second most talked-about beauty routine in the royal family. Her skincare routine has drawn close attention, as she received the most online mentions of her skincare of all the royal family over the past 12 months (3,267).


The third most talked-about beauty routine belongs to the late Princess Diana, with the Fresha research noting 42,672 articles mentioning her beauty insights in the last 12 months alone. 6,106 of the articles specifically mentioned Princess Diana’s make-up, 18,076 discussed her hairstyles and 1,002 explored her skincare routine.


Kate Middleton’s beauty routine was mentioned in 38,261 articles over the last year, with the royal having the second most talked-about skincare routine (2,029 articles). Queen Camilla’s beauty routine has been highlighted in 16,957 online articles.
